Calling all skiers! Skate and Classic welcome. Mitch and Kyle invite you to a pre-Spring Break low-key community race event — 1, 2 or 3 laps of the 1.5k Lighted Loop at Crosscut. Bring a buddy and some fun treats for social hour afterwards.

The Crosscut Classic is a classic technique event that draws skiers from the Bozeman community and throughout the Rocky Mountain West for the 20k, 10k, and 5k classic ski races and 6k sit ski event.

Ski for Soren is a community driven Nordic ski race taking place at Crosscut Mountain Sports Center on Saturday, January 11, 2025. The event will feature skate 20k, 10k, 5k, fun ski, and sit ski races.

Come out to Crosscut and try the latest and greatest bikes from Owenhouse and other demo partners. Demos will be available from 10am-4pm. Group rides will start at 11:00am, with specific routes and hosts to be announced. Group rides are open to anyone so please consider heading up to Crosscut to join in on the fun!

Our approximately 20-mile and 5-mile races, as well as an untimed group ride promise a thrilling challenge for all experience levels, with a mix of climbs, descents, flow trail, and technical sections on scenic trails that offer panoramic mountain vistas, lush forests, and stunning meadows.

Crosscut is hosting a Community Biathlon Race on Saturday March 18, 2023. Come join in! No prior experience with biathlon is necessary. Ammo and rifle will be provided to participants. This is a great opportunity for the biathlon-curious to experience this awesome sport!

The Sacagawea Classic is a premier classic cross-country ski event. This race has a great community feel harkening back to classic ski tours of yore. Skate skiers, trust us, this event is a blast — we have testimonials from dozens of skate skiers to prove it!

Ski for Soren features 5k, 10k, and 20k skate ski races, and proceeds go to the Soren Joseph Hartnett Legacy Fund.
