Crosscut Winter Season Dog Policies

Sharing the outdoors with our four-legged friends

The only thing better than playing outside, is playing outside with a dog. Crosscut is happy to welcome pass holders’ pups to the trails during Winter Dog Days. Purchase your season pass today to take advantage!

  • Valid day pass or season pass required to use winter trails at Crosscut Mountain Sports Center, including during Dog Days

    • A season pass allows you to get the most out of Dog Days — season pass holders gain access to after hours skiing (i.e. the 4-8pm time period on W, F, S), which is particularly nice as the days get longer. Day Pass users are welcome to ski with pups from 3-4pm W, F, S and 3-8pm M. Night Ski Pass users are welcome 4-8pm M.

  • ALWAYS CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PUP

  • Dogs should be leashed or on a firm heel in the base area — we don’t want any mishaps with cars

  • Once Dog Days are open, well-behaved dogs are welcome from:

    • 3–8PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays for Season Pass Holders (and Fridays this year too!)

    • 3–8PM on Mondays, and 3–4PM on Wednesdays and Saturdays for Day Pass users

    • 4-8PM on Mondays for Night Ski Pass users

  • Day pass or season pass is required for Dog Days

  • Dogs must be under control at all times — aggressive behavior will not be tolerated

  • Dogs may accompany their owners on all trails

  • Please check our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram), drop us an email, or give us a call (406-586-9690) if you aren’t sure if Dog Days are open

Crosscut’s ability to continue to allow dogs depends on dog owners cleaning up after their pets and keeping their dogs on a leash or under voice control. Please always clean up after your dog and gently remind other dog users to do the same.
