Activities

Bozeman has plenty of activities to keep you busy during your stay. Take a stroll down Main Street. Cozy up in a coffee shop, check out the local shops, or visit Museum of the Rockies.

Bozeman is also home to a thriving art scene featuring six dedicated concert halls, dozens of art galleries, live theaters and dance ensembles.

If you are looking to relax after a weekend of racing, spectating or volunteering, checkout one of our nearby hot springs. Bozeman Hot Springs is located a few miles out of town, while Chico Hot Springs is a further drive into Paradise Valley where you will get to experience a more classic Western feel tucked into the mountain side.

Finally, southwest Montana is home to world class downhill ski resorts. Bridger Bowl is our next door neighbor, and offers crazy lines off the ridge, while Big Sky is a world renowned ski destination, and Showdown offers a small town feel. Either way, if you are looking for some turns you will be sure to find some at any venue.

Bozeman sits at the northern edge of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, the largest remaining, nearly-intact ecosystem in the contiguous United States. The 22-million-acre Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem stretches across parts of Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho, with Yellowstone National Park at its heart. Its eleven mountain ranges, countless rivers, and vast prairies are home to countless wildlife and plants.

While some areas of the park are closed during the winter months you can still visit Mammoth Hot Springs from the Gardiner entrance, or ski in and around the park in West Yellowstone.
