Inspiring Healthy Community by Connecting People & Nature
A place for community
Crosscut is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving our community and visitors alike. We offer human-powered recreation, outdoor education, and ski, biathlon and mountain bike programs for all ages, abilities, identities, and backgrounds.
Located 17 miles north of Bozeman in the heart of the Bridger Range, Crosscut sits on 500 acres adjacent to Bridger Bowl and the Custer Gallatin National Forest.
Voluntary Summer Trail Pass
To help cover the summer operating expenses at Crosscut Mountain Sports Center, consider supporting our nonprofit organization with a voluntary trail pass. Crosscut offers 15 miles of single-track trails for mountain biking, hiking, trail running, and e-mountain biking. Additionally, our cross-country ski trails offer great hiking and add many more miles of enjoyment and exploration to our summer trail system.Summer Camps at Crosscut

Land Acknowledgment
Our programs are held on the ancestral homelands of the Niitsítpiis-stahkoii (Blackfoot), Apsaalooké (Crow), Salish Kootenai, Cheyenne, and Očhéthi Šakówiŋ (Sioux) peoples. We honor the past, present, and future of these Indigenous groups, and acknowledge their role as caretakers to this land.
