Postseason Visits Information
A perk for season pass holders
When conditions allow, Crosscut welcomes season pass holders for postseason skiing. Whether and when we can remain open for postseason skiing varies year-to-year and is dependent on weather and snow conditions.
Crosscut is Closed for the Season
A beloved perk of being a season pass holder is the opportunity to ski after the end of the season when conditions allow. Please carefully review the information below and enjoy your time on the trails.
As of Sunday, March 8th, Crosscut Mountain Sports Center is closed for the season.
Season pass holders may continue to ski, fatbike, and snowshoe at their own risk.
We will be conducting periodic pass holder checks – please have your season pass purchase receipt available.
No walking or hiking allowed. Visitors must be on skis, snowshoes, or fatbikes.
Snowshoers & fatbikers must use narrow gauge trails only.
Always scan your pass!
Postseason Operations Do Not Include Services or Regular Grooming
Please check our grooming report for updates on postseason grooming — updates will be posted when trails are groomed.
The Nordic Center building is closed, and no services are available. No incident response or emergency services are available. Please come prepared for a safe, self-supported outing.
Regular grooming operations are limited and occur when conditions are favorable and grooming staff is available.
We cannot make any guarantees as to trail conditions.
Please park in Base Area Parking Lot near the Nordic Center.
Always ski kind and keep making Crosscut a welcoming place for all.
Dog & Trail Info
Well behaved dogs are allowed on the trails any days and any times. Please always pick up after your fury friends.
Walking, hiking, and trail running is not permitted at this time. Olsen Creek, 2 miles to the south of CMSC, and South Fork of Brackett, Creek 2 mile to the north, offer opportunities for those interested in these activities.
During mud season trails are closed to hikers, dogs, and mountain bikers. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook to stay up-to-date with the latest information about visiting Crosscut in the summer
Ski with Caution
Trail hazards that could damage ski equipment or cause injury may be present on the trails.
Conditions may change dramatically from day-to-day and week-to-week, please use your best judgement about when to visit.
