Adult Biathlon Clinic I
This Beginner to Biathlon Clinic introduces the challenging and fun sport of biathlon, which combines Nordic skiing with shooting marksmanship. The 2.5 hour clinic will cover the sport, the range it occurs on, as well as the rifles and targets. Basic rifle safety, rifle loading and operation, and the fundamentals of an accurate rifle shot (position, sight alignment, breathing, trigger control and follow through) are introduced and experienced.
No prior experience in marksmanship or Nordic skiing is needed to participate. Biathlon rifles and ammunition are provided. During registration you will have the option to add on ski rentals for this clinic and register for Clinic II which follows Clinic I on February 7th.
Where: Crosscut Mountain Sports Center’s Biathlon Stadium
Who: Adults 18+
When: Saturday, February 7th at 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Register for both Clinic I and Clinic II to quickly progress your biathlon skills!
Registration will close when full or 24 hours before the clinic.
