Trail Closures

We will close our summer trail system to mountain biking and hiking from 4pm Friday, September 2nd until 4pm Sunday, September 4th. Please respect trail closures.

Volunteers Needed!

Holding a race of this size requires a lot of volunteers, and Montana NICA could use some help! Please consider volunteering. If you have any volunteering-related questions, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Cindy Schultz at volunteer@montanamtb.org.

Spectators Welcome!

Come cheer on some of the best youth mountain bikers in Montana! Racers in middle school through high school will be giving it their best on a fun course with lots of climbs and descents. Cow bells, clapping, and hootin’ and hollerin’ words of encouragement welcome!

Races begin Saturday morning. Check back for a more detailed schedule closer to the race day.

More About Montana Interscholastic Cycling League

The Montana Interscholastic Cycling League is a youth development organization working with the National Interscholastic Cycling League (NICA) as a Project League under NICA’s nonprofit umbrella. The Montana League is dedicated to building relationships in Montana communities that help promote healthy lifestyles in middle and high school youth, grades 6-12, through the lifelong sport of cycling.

The Montana League provides athletic opportunity to student-athletes of all skill levels and all socioeconomic backgrounds. Any child who wants to participate is welcome to join their local team. If the child does not have proper gear or cannot afford to purchase equipment necessary to participate, the Montana League is dedicated to helping provide the necessary items through our network of community-based gear donations and scholarships.
