Voting day was a snowy one at Crosscut, with 8" on the ground in the base area, and over 2 feet of snow at the top of the trail system!

Our grooming crew spent the day packing in all this new snow to make for a firm base for this season's skiing (and we cleared out ~20 downed trees along the way). This is a great start for the season, as this snow will be the base of our skiing for the rest of the winter, but we don't have quite enough snow to open for pre-season skiing just yet. Because the ground is still warm, there are several places where there is open water across the trail. The good news is that we have a couple more doses of snow and colder weather in the forecast. We will keep everyone updated as we work to get the trails in condition for Season Pass holders to enjoy this early snow.

Don't forget to get your Season Pass before November 15th. Available online now!
