Bridger biathlon club is a nonprofit organization based in Bozeman, Montana that promotes athletic achievement and values of healthy living for all ages and abilities through recreational and competitive biathlon.
Athletes will learn how to shoot proficiently from the prone position with a rifle rest.
The Green team offers an eight week summer session with three practices per week, and a ten week winter session with one outdoor combination training practice per week. Ski technique will be incorporated into winter practices.
Athletes will begin to shoot proficiently in the prone position with a sling and cuff.
The Blue team offers an eight week summer session with four practices per week, and a twenty week winter session with one outdoor combination training practice per week, and one optional indoor shooting practice per week. Ski technique will be incorporated into winter practices.
Athletes will begin shooting from the standing position and carrying their rifles during winter training and races.
The Black team offers and eight week summer training session with five practices per week, and a twenty week winter session with one outdoor combination training practice per week, and one indoor shooting practice per week.
