Only 17 miles north of Bozeman, Crosscut sits in the heart of the Bridger mountains. With miles of trails for skiing, snowshoeing, biking, and hiking, we've got something for everyone.
Crosscut Mountain Sports Center is a community non-profit dedicated to conserving the 500+ acres adjacent to Bridger Bowl Ski Area as a year-round recreation, sports training and educational facility for all ages and abilities.
17 miles north of Bozeman, Montana, at the base of the Bridger Mountains, the 259-acre Crosscut Ranch and 276-acre property formerly known as Bohart Ranch – situated alongside the Bridger Bowl Ski Area – first started operating as Nordic ski venues in the 1970s and have helped define our community as a mountain ski town. Now Crosscut Mountain Sports Center owns both properties and is working to preserve a cherished recreational resource for generations to come
Crosscut Mountain Sports Center's trail system, lodge, and venue will be designed sustainably to accommodate a wide range of outdoor enthusiasts – from hikers and mountain bikers to skiing families seeking groomed cross country ski trails and backcountry access. CMSC will also be home base for the Bridger Biathlon Club.
Crosscut Mountain Sports Center will be a year-round recreational and educational resource for the Bozeman community.
Our vision is to work with the community to build a recreational asset that will provide easy access to the mountains for our children to get outside and play. Crosscut Mountain Sports Center will reunite the historic Crosscut Ranch and former Bohart Ranch properties on behalf of all who seek to enjoy the unique mountain sport experiences that the Bridger Mountains have to offer.
Crosscut Mountain Sports Center’s board, staff and coaches are committed to providing families with top-notch outdoor education and environmental programs that connect kids with nature, and where our children can learn and develop outdoor skills to last a lifetime.
Formerly Bridger Biathlon Club, Crosscut biathlon programing promotes athletic achievement and healthy living by providing a safe, supportive, and fun environment for all ages and abilities to participate in recreational and competitive biathlon.Crosscut BIATHLON
